Director of the Festival - Szymon Pasaj

Szymon Pasaj - born 01.04.1979, Film Studies graduate of Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Since 1998 he has been cooperating with the Rotunda Film Discussion Club where he has co-organised: film reviews and screenings (e.g. “Sergei Parajanov and Ukrainian Cinema”, “Wenders and Others (Post War German Film Masterpieces)”, “Andre Delvoux Retrospective”, French New Wave), meetings with film artists and scholars: (to name but a few: Andrzej Wajda, Jerzy Kucia, Joanna Helander, Andre Delvoux, Andrzej Gwóźdź, Joachim Peach, Tadeusz Lubelski), film festivals (Croatian Film Festival, Short Film – the Off Festival, “Etiuda” International Film Festival).
Since 2001 he has been working for the “Etiuda & Anima” International Film Festival - first as its Manager and since 2005 as the Director of the Festival. In 2008 the Festival, which features two international contests (of student etudes and animations), celebrated its 15th anniversary.
Since 2000 he has also been working individually on several projects such as closed company events, conferences, open air events for e.g. BP Polska, Philips Polska, Oki Poland, RMF FM Radio, MAN, Microsoft Polska, Onet.pl.
Since 2009 he has also been the founding president of the “Endorphins” Foundation which supports film festivals, music events and other cultural projects.
