About the festival
Etiuda&Anima is the oldest festival of animated films in Poland. Year after year, we are working hard to achieve prestige and level of top international film festivals.
The Idea
Etiuda&Anima is an original artistic event resulting from exploring lonely roads, or wild backwoods that
are bound to get crowded with people seeking impressions and emotions multiplex cinemas lack.
Friends
Friends include everybody without whom the festival could not take place. This refers to various institutions whose help made them a part of the Etiuda&Anima festival. This cooperation is indispensable for the festival development.
Volunteering
Etiuda&Anima festival’s volunteers are an integral part of our organizational office, many of them helping us
all year round! Without you organizing such an event would be impossible.
History
"In 1992 we showed etudes from Australian and Belgian schools fro the first time. The screenings
aroused people's interest as they were really good. (...) Polish schools and in autumn the same year I first
thought about organizing a completely separate festival with a concurrent contest..."
