KI/MY NAME IS KI, reż./dir.: Leszek Dawid, wyst./cast: Roma Gąsiorowska, Kamil Malecki, Krzysztof Ogłoza, Sylwia Juszczak, Polska/Poland, 2011, 93’Ki (Roma Gąsiorowska) is a young mother who definitely does not fit the traditional model of the Polish mother. Ki fights with the social stereotype and the attempts to burden her with all duties connected with this role. Ki is not
a likable person; she is arrogant, insolent, ruthless, but we admire her for her courage to fight for self-fulfillment and the belief that the baby is happier when his/her mother is fulfilled.

A Slovenian forest was the perfect setting for the Lapajne’s thriller. A contemporary Slovenian masterpiece, carefully structured film with no flaws. Perfectly portrayed characters, including supporting ones, who make up a kind of choir, carry a luggage, which becomes the most devastating burden.

This is an ode for all those who enjoy flying. Is it possible to get to the moon within no more than one breath? Yes, it is, if you are determined to fly and well-prepared, like Rain, a postman. Sky Song is full of experiments with the form and material.
