During this year edition we proudly present the profiles of three eminent animation artists: Raimund Krumme (Germany), Nedeljko Dragić (Croatia) and Stefan Schabenbeck (Poland).

Special Guest – Raimund KrummeRaimund Krumme’s artistic works and films make up a well-thought-out and coherent whole. Therefore, animation fans must see an exhibition of his artistic works called “Play of lines and shapes”, opened in the Krakow division of the Association of Polish Visual Artists, at 3 Łobzowskiej St.

Nedeljko Dragić Nadeljko Dragić is one of the most outstanding representatives of the Zagreb School of Animation. Dragić’s films resemble a simple cartoon for children, without dialogues, based on gags, still extremely mature and personal. In 1972 his film Tup-tup was nominated to Oscar Award.

European Animation Classics (III) Stefan Schabenbeck
![]() Stefan Schabenbeck graduated from the Film School in Łódź. He is a scriptwriter, director of cartoons and puppet animation. He represents a philosophical trend (Neo-Pythagorism) in the second generation of the Polish School of Animation. He emigrated from Poland in 1970 after much success achieved in the 1960s. He focused on teaching at film schools.
